Cattails in the Meadow

About This Item:

Cattails in the Meadow

Cattails in the Meadow is a pieced pattern by Judy Neimeyer with a medallion motif.

In this pattern, a center star burst is surrounded by a ring of slightly off center triangles. This is then surrounded by pieced cattails and a complementary colorway of points. There is plenty of negative space for your creative quilting to be given a stage to be shown off. A Chevron border finishes the sashing prior to the final ivory border.

Judy uses Hoffman Fabrics for this quilt and the fabric suggestions are listed on the back of this pattern. She uses foundation paper piecing techniques to build her technically designed quilts. All that is needed is included in this pattern along with step-by-step instructions so you can easily construct this beautiful quilt.

The finished dimensions of this quilt are 70" x 70". She has also included instructions for 81" x 81" size - but additional foundation papers will be needed for the extra size.
